Daniel Ebbers,
tenor (Gabriel von Eisenstein)
Mr.
Ebbers’ appearances include Alfredo in La
Traviata in Stockton, Uriel in Haydn's
Creation, Don José in Carmen in
Fairbanks, the Evangelist in the St. Matthew
Passion with the Pomona Chorale. Other
career highlights include his critically
acclaimed appearances with baritone Thomas
Hampson in Elinor Remick Warren's The Legend
of King Arthur. Mr. Ebbers was a featured
soloist with the San Francisco Symphony in
Stravinsky's Mass conducted by Michael
Tilson Thomas. He is a distinguished
interpreter of Mozart, including the roles of
Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni for Opera
Theater of Connecticut; Belmonte in Abduction
from the Seraglio and Prince Edwin in The
Gypsy Princess for San Diego Comic Opera,
the tenor soloist in Mozart's Requiem at
the Rudolphinum in Prague and in the title role
in Idomeneo at Avery Fisher Hall. He won
critical acclaim for his portrayal of the Duke
of Mantua in Rigoletto for Anchorage
Opera. Mr. Ebbers' engagements have also
included Cassio in Othello for Greensboro
Opera. Mr. Ebbers holds a Master Degree from the
University of Southern California.
