Ed
Harris (Skuller
cover & Chorus Master) baritone comes from Forsyth, MT. His prominence
in the regional arts scene has become even more evident in the past
decade. Mr. Harris has become an RO audience favorite, having performed
a wide range of roles including Baron Zeta in The Merry Widow,
The Bonze in Madama Butterfly, The Sacristan in Tosca,
the High Priest in The Magic Flute, and The Commendatore in
Don Giovanni.
He has appeared as soloist with the Billings Symphony
in the Brahms Requiem, and has musically directed and conducted
many shows in the community such as The Mikado, Children of
Eden, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Edward is a founding member of RO and current adult Chorus Master.
Mr.
Harris is fulltime Musical Director at American Lutheran Church in
Billings, where in January; he produced Amahl and the Night Visitors,
including performances in Powell, Wyoming at Northwest Community College
and Powell’s Lutheran Church. He has just returned from Boise, where he
reprised his role in The Merry Widow, with Opera Idaho. Upcoming
operas include La Bohème and La Traviata.
