ALEX HEYNEMAN
Mr. Heyneman's eyes were opened to the magic
of performing arts at The Athenian School in Danville, CA. Receiving his
B.A. in technical theater at Rocky Mountain College in Billings; his early
credits include Scapino and Something's Afoot. During his college years he
lit many productions at Billings Studio Theater, including The Glass
Menagerie, Fiddler on the Roof, and Company. Mr. Heyneman began his career
as a lighting intern at The Children's Theater Company in Minneapolis MN,
and was later hired as a stage technician, working on great original
productions including The Red Shoes, and The Wind in the Willows. From 1987
to 1996, Alex was the Technical Director for Montana's premier performing
arts center, the Alberta Bair Theater. His lighting design credits at the
ABT include South Pacific, Brigadoon, Carousel, A Chorus Line, and the world
premier of the opera Pamelia. Currently ranching with his family in the
foothills of the Beartooth Mountains, Alex continues spreading the joy of
live performance to area communities. Debuting in 2005, Mr. Heyneman is
pleased to continue working with Rimrock Opera Foundation and NOVA Center
for the Performing Arts.
