Cara Lynn Jovanovich,
soprano
Originally from Yardley,
Pennsylvania, she received her Degree in Music
from Northern Arizona University. Being a child
performer, she sang in Telethons, competitions,
Tours, and was in a professional country band by
twelve years old. After receiving her Music
degree in Opera Performance, she moved to New
York City to pursue her career.
This production with Rimrock Opera marks her
return to the stage after a seven year hiatus to
have her three children with her husband,
Billings native: Brandon Jovanovich. Credits
include: Monica in The Medium, Lucy in The
Telephone and Lola in Cavalleria Rusticana,
(Opera Works, Manhattan). Papagena/Die
Zauberflöte (Rome Festival Orchestra),
Margot/The Desert Song,(Milton Theater
Productions), and Tzeital in Fiddler on the
Roof. Other credits include roles in: La
Gioconda, Suor Angelica, Roberto Devereux, Hugh
the Drover, Man of La Mancha, Sweeney Todd, and
The Music Man. Her concert credit includes an
Opera Gala with Bronx Opera, under the direction
of Michael Spierman. Her CD Sing to the Moon,
marks her collaboration with composer, Erika
Stadtlander who composes children’s musical
theater productions for her company in Upstate
New York.
