Susan McDaniel

Vocal Coach/Pianist Susan McDaniel has performed around the world as a soloist and collaborative pianist, including recitals in France, Germany, Switzerland and the Czech Republic. She received a bachelor’s degree in music from Linfield College in 1997 and a master of music degree from Manhattan School of Music in 2001, where she studied vocal accompanying with Warren Jones. McDaniel has been a member of the music staff at Seattle Opera, Portland Opera, and Utah Festival Opera, as well as music director and pianist for the San Diego Opera Ensemble, Off-Center Opera in Seattle and Puget Sound Concert Opera. She is also the head opera coach at the Atlantic Music Festival in Waterville, Maine. In addition to her operatic engagements, McDaniel was the resident pianist for the All Classical Portland live performance show, Thursdays @ Three, and is a member of the Northwest Piano Trio.
