Taylor Tucker
BaritoneSoprano Taylor
Tucker is excited to begin this new phase of her musical life. Singing
alongside her grandmother, mother, and siblings as a child is when the
desire to pursue music began.
At a young age she began piano lessons
and started singing in her church regularly. She enjoyed performing in
quartets, solos, and choirs throughout her middle and high school years. She
also had the privilege of working with vocal teacher Michelle Maurer her
senior year of highschool. After graduation, she had the honor of being a
part of Billings Symphony Chorale for three semesters under the direction of
Dr Steven Hart.
Her past roles include Billings Studio Theatre’s
production of Les Miserables and Nova’s Operetta, The Telephone. She’s
looking forward to being an understudy in Alberta Bair’s upcoming opera,
Nosferatu.
She is currently enjoying being a wife and mother and
getting back into music after taking a sabbatical, during which she kept in
practice by performing at local retirement and nursing homes and singing
lullabies to her two beautiful daughters.
